Hello and welcome to brianprenderville.com. I am a social media consultant and researcher. 

One of my current roles is director of social media for international bestselling author Philippa Gregory. The success of this author is reflected in the fact that her book, The Other Boleyn Girl was made into a BBC series and later a successful movie. This author has a global fan base and continues to release new books which feature regularly in the top ten. This leads to an incredibly exciting social media adventure where tens of thousands of readers engage with our social network activities on a monthly basis. 
  
I am also the founder of www.webofacademia.com a social network site for researchers, academics and postgraduates which I set up when I commenced my PhD in social media. I now maintain this site as a hobby and gain great satisfaction each time a new person signs up.

Prior to my current role I worked with a diverse range of Multinational Companies, SMEs and Educational Institutes. I have a First Class Honours Degree in Business Studies and also a First Class Honours Masters Degree in International Entrepreneurship Management. 

Currently, I am living in Ireland, frequently travel internationally, present at international conferences, and have won awards for my blogs and their titles in international fora.
